Trauma & Bleed Kits Available at Our Leisure Centres

We’re always looking for ways to make our leisure centres safer and more prepared for any situation. That’s why we’ve recently installed trauma and bleed kits across our centres, making sure that in the unlikely event of a serious emergency, the right equipment is on hand.'

What Are Trauma & Bleed Kits?

Trauma and bleed kits contain life-saving medical supplies designed to help control severe bleeding before emergency services arrive. They include tourniquets, wound dressings, haemostatic gauze and other essential items that can make a critical difference in an emergency.

While we hope they never need to be used, having them available in our centres provides an extra level of reassurance for staff, members and the wider community.

Why Do We Have Them?

This initiative is part of a wider effort to improve public safety and emergency preparedness at our centres. The kits have been funded through a Worcestershire County Council grant, supporting local venues in equipping themselves with first-aid tools that could save lives in critical situations.

Our teams have also received guidance on how to use the kits, making sure that if a situation arises, we’re ready to respond effectively while awaiting emergency services.

Our Commitment to Community Safety

As a community-focused leisure provider, we want everyone who visits our centres to feel safe and supported. The introduction of trauma and bleed kits is just one of the many steps we’ve taken to create a secure environment for members, visitors, staff and the local community.

We’re proud to be part of a growing network of businesses and organisations prioritising public safety, and we’ll continue looking for ways to improve the experience for everyone who walks through our doors.
