Meet Rachel Cartwright - Our New Health & Wellbeing Manager

We’re excited to introduce Rachel Cartwright, who has recently joined our head office team as the Health & Wellbeing Manager here at Rivers. You might already recognise Rachel from her role as a class instructor and personal trainer at Droitwich Leisure Centre. She has also taught and trained frequently at Pershore Leisure Centre in the past, and covered at Evesham Leisure Centre.

Rachel brings a wealth of experience in health and fitness management to her new position. Her dedication to wellness and helping others achieve their fitness goals is evident in everything she does.

Rachel has been in the Fitness Industry and working for Rivers for almost a decade now, after deciding when her youngest baby was born to progress her natural passion for fitness into a career. Having started off taking various classes including Group cycle, Circuits, Meta fit, Body pump, Grit and Yoga at the centre and at other gyms in and around Worcestershire. She then progressed her qualifications further to include Personal training and then Strength and Conditioning.

She is a self-confessed strength training and Yoga addict and loves to spend her weekends with her family partaking in various sporting events and challenges, you will often find them all, including her dogs walking the Malvern hills or at a parkrun event.

In her new role, Rachel will oversee our fitness programmes, making sure that they cater to the diverse needs of our members. She will also lead various health initiatives aimed at promoting well-being within our community.

We’re confident that Rachel’s expertise and commitment will make a positive impact on our community and organisation, and we’re excited to have her on board.
