Patrick Heeks has had an amazing 2022 summer as a Rivers gifted & talented member. Patrick qualified for the national swimming championships in three events back in June.

With this year being his first year in the open age category, Patrick was stepping up & really pushing the boundaries of his training. The championships was last week & here is how he did:

“I’m very proud to say I’ve had a very successful national championships. I had the 100 fly first, to which I got a time Of 56.25 a 0.79 PB and won a silver medal. Then I had the 200 fly, to which I got to the final and got a 2.98 second PB and came 5th.  And lastly I had the 50 fly, where I got a 0.07 PB making the final and missing out on a medal by 0.10.”

Patrick did some well in the national championships & we can’t be more pleased to help support this young athlete train & achieve his goals. Well done Patrick!
